Madeleine Peyroux’s last performance in Northeast Florida actually never happened. She was scheduled to perform at Hemming Park (now James Weldon Johnson Park) at the jazz festival in 2012, but her Sunday set was canceled, along with all the others that day, after a ferocious freak rainstorm ran through downtown like shoppers on Black Friday.

“I don’t do much that would be considered random. I do a lot of planning. There were things I did that I had no idea would fail so completely, like getting an office space in New York City and hiring people to work there. One of them stole a lot of money and wrecked things for a while.”

Sam Tompkins is a singer/songwriter from Brighton, London. Tomkins’ brand-new EP, ‘who do you pray to?,’ dropped on March 18th and embodies his emotions and family-oriented identity. Tompkins is a shy person but loves to express himself through fashion.
